Tandy joined the staff at FBC in September 2016. She attended Howard Payne University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has worked in various churches throughout TX for the last 20 years as a youth pastor and worship leader. Tandy has been married for 24 years to Brian Adams who is the head volleyball and tennis coach and English teacher at Alpine High School. She and Brian have 2 children. Their daughter,  Taylor, is a sophomore at Sul Ross State University Alpine. Taylor is an English Education major and involved with Baptist Student Ministries at SRSU.  Taylor loves debating (anything really)  and is a very outspoken, strong woman, Their son, Jonah, is 16 and a sophomore at Alpine High School. Jonah is on the drum line, in One Act Play, Cross Country and Track.  Jonah is a runner and will talk about conspiracy theories and global warming until you just give up and agree wth him.

Tandy loves teenagers and college students and their passion, creativity, and energy. Watching teenagers fall in love with and passionately pursue Jesus makes all the late nights, the pizza parties, and the rowdy middle school boys worth it. She loves worship and leading others as they declair together in song the glory and truth of who God is.  Tandy believes the local church is the hope of the world and the Bride of Christ.  Her desire is for all generations within the Body to work together to further the Kingdom, to be light in a dark world and to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the community. She is passionate about her World Champion Chicago Cubs (and baseball in general), her Breedlove guitar, tattoos and coffee.  Brian and Tandy have made Alpine home and never plan on leaving.

"Now all Glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think or imagine." Eph 3:20
